Killeen–Fort Hood Regional Airport (GRK) is both military and commercial airport that operates along with Robert Gray Army Airfield. The airport is located just a few miles southwest of Killeen, Central Texas. It is mainly operated by two big American airlines: American Eagle and United Airlines, which provide non-stop scheduled flights to Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston–Intercontinental with further world-wide connections. In 2015 Killeen airport was categorized as a primary commercial service airport, based on more than 10 000 enplanements annually. It is situated just one-hour drive from Austin, and about two hours from Dallas and San Antonio. Together with multiple four-lane highways making the travel to or from San Antonio, Austin and Waco very easy and comfortable.
The GRK airport is a two-story terminal building. It can be easily accessed via SH201/Clear Creek Road, from the Chet Edward Loop. The first floor holds airline counters, baggage claim area and rental car desks that are open daily from 8 am till 8 pm as well as Airport Military Liaison Desk. The second floor of the airport offers Food and Drink places together with gift shop and game room. If you need a place to work, you can use the laptop station to charge your devices and get the Internet access. Free Wi-Fi connection is available across the whole terminal area. Airports terminal building hours of operation are from 3:00 a.m. till 12:00 (midnight).

Killeen airport parking offers two closes parking options: Short-Term Parking and Long-Term Parking. Both lots are situated right across the terminal building and are very easy to access with seven entrance locations for the drivers to use. Killeen airport parking short term lot holds around 500 self-parking spaces. There is no Cell Phone lot at the Killen airport, so drivers that came to pick up arriving passengers can use the Short term lot, as it is the closest and most convenient option with first 30 minutes free parking rates. Killeen airport long term parking lot offers around 900 self-parking places. It is located right behind the Short term lot and takes only a few minutes walk to get there. If you are going for a long-lasting trip, the Long term lot is your best option, but be aware that both Long and Short term lots are outdoor type lots, so no weather protection can be achieved. Handicapped parking spots are available at both parking lots.

After that the Shot Term lot rates $1 for the first hour (31 – 60 minutes) and all additional hours up to daily rate of $10 and $60 weekly rate. The Long Term lot also provides free 30 minutes of parking with $1 parking fees per hour up to daily rate of $8 and $48 weekly rate.
The Complimentary Parking is provided only to vehicles with license plates: Disabled Veteran, Pearl Harbor Survivor, Former Prisoner of War, Congressional Medal of Honor, and Purple Heart Recipient.
