St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) is both public and military airport, located in Pinellas County, Florida serving the Tampa Bay Area. It is located on State Route 686 (Roosevelt Blvd). Most scheduled airlines fly to Tampa International Airport (TPA), which is located just 10 miles east of PIE, nevertheless, the airport remains a convenient destination for many low-cost carriers. Resulting in the first one million number of passengers choosing PIE in a single year (2014). Currently, the airport offers its services to more than 2 million travelers every year.
St. Petersburg Airport terminal is a modern two-story terminal building. The pre-security Hudson Dunkin' shop offers a generous variety of snacks and drinks, as well as newspapers, gifts, and souvenirs for your trip. The pre-security Fuel Bar on the second floor offers full-course meals as well as salads and burgers, and of course a wide choice of drinks (only for people 21 years of age and older). The post-security area includes the Dunkin Donuts café (next to the Gates 2-6) and News & Gifts shops: Market 361 (Gates 2-6) and Sand & Sky Shoppe (Gates 7-11). The airport also offers free Wi-Fi access throughout the airport.

St. Petersburg Airport parking offers three convenient parking options for you to choose from: the Short-Term parking lot, the Long-Term parking lot, and the Economy parking lot. Additionally, the airport owns a very convenient Cell Phone lot for picking up arriving passengers and additional Employee parking lot, which greatly reduces the regular lots’ traffic. The Short-Term lot is the most convenient option, as it is located right across from the main terminal building. Simply cross the Terminal Blvd road to get to the lot. St. Petersburg FL airport Long term parking lot is also very easy to aces as it is located within a walking distance, right behind the Short-Term one. The Economy lot is the farthest option, but it is also the cheapest one. There are two different Economy lots available. The Economy Key Lime PIE lot is open year-round, while the Economy Strawberry PIE is opened only if needed. Both Economy lots include regular free shuttle bus services to help you get to/from the PIE Airport. All the parking lots are open two hours prior to the first departure flight, and one hour after the last arriving flight. St. Petersburg Airport Parking Fees
The Short-Term St. Petersburg Airport parking rates $2 for the first hour and $1 for each additional 20 minutes, up to a daily maximum rate of $18. The Long-Term parking rates $2 for the first hour and $1 for each additional 20 minutes, up to a daily maximum rate of $12. The Economy parking at St. Petersburg International Airport rates $8 per 24 hours (with the same hourly rates). Parking fees can be paid with cash and all the major credit or debit cards.
