Springfield Airport Parking

One of the few airports in the country which provides non-stop service to over 13 cities, the Springfield Branson Airport (SGF) is one of the most hectic places around. Inaugurated over 74 years ago, the SGF airport covers a total area of about 2750 acres and houses two runways. It manages over 50,000 flight operations with more than 120 aircraft. This airport is well-known to make way for emergency landings, one of the notable events being in 2010 as the pilot of an aircraft was unable to orchestrate a landing further away due to technical difficulties.
However, the airport’s maximum revenue doesn’t come from flights, but from its other amenities, primarily parking. The airport parking is one of the busiest spots in the area. You will be hard put to find a viable and affordable parking space at this airport, especially during peak times of the year. And that is exactly where we come in. Our informational guide will not only furnish you with the relevant parking rates but also expound on the additional facilities available in the lots.
Springfield Airport Parking services:
The Springfield Branson has three different parking lots. Lot A is the Cell Phone Waiting area near the entrance to the airport. You are free to wait there for picking up or dropping off passengers. Then there are the short-term and long term parking options. Both these lots are at a short walk from the terminal.
The Airport Prices for Parking:
Each of the two different parking lots has 30-minutes worth of free parking. Lot B has dedicated short-term parking spaces that can be booked on a half-hour basis. You will be charged $2 every 30-minutes post the first free 30. You can build it up to a daily maximum of $16 (far more affordable than the parking option available outside).
Furthermore, if you think that you won’t be coming back anytime within the designated time period for short-term parking, then you would be better off parking in the Springfield airport long term parking (Lot C). Here, you will be billed $1 every hour with a daily maximum of $11 and a weekly maximum of $66. All cash and major credit cards are accepted at each parking lot.
Springfield Airport Special Parking highlights:
Apart from the 30-minutes of free parking and the Cell Phone waiting area, there is a special bonus for disabled parking: you can park in Lot B (short-term parking lot) at long-term rates. Since the parking area is quite busy during any time of the day or night, you can find expert personnel manning their individual stations 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Thus, if you were ever to have any queries or parking issues, you can reach out to the relevant authorities at any hour. However, since the lots are right next to each other and the terminal entrance is a short walk away, there is no shuttle service available at the airport.
