San Luis Obispo Airport is a civil airport located close to San Luis Obispo, in California. The airport is served with four-passenger airlines with flights to nine cities, which include San Diego, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, Portland, and Los Angeles.
It was established back in 1939 and used by the United States military from 1939 to 1945. The airport covers 138 ha (340 acres) and includes two runways. Towards the airfield’s north end, there’s a new passenger terminal made to replace the smaller, older facility. This new terminal has a post-security food stand, modern security screening and check-in counters, gates with waiting areas, two glassy jet bridges, and a pet relief area.
The facilities of the Luis Obispo county regional airport include parking, hangars, restaurant, a terminal building, and a lot of other airplane-related businesses. Its services are provided by Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines via their respective regional partners.
