Nelson Airport (NSN) is located in the suburb of Annesbrook, Nelson, New Zealand. The airport ranks fifth as busiest airport in New Zealand by passengers and seventh by airfield operations. Generally, more than 1 million passengers and visitors utilize the airport services annually. But this is not the limit, airport continues to grow, newly constructed terminal building, together with added parking slots to operate for growing demand and even modern premium parking spots are coming. The advanced infrastructure has been designed to serve the forecast growth up to 1.4 million passengers. The new single terminal building holds 9 gates within and 7 remote gates which are adjacent to the terminal. Such airlines as Air New Zealand, Golden Bay Air, Jetstar Airways, Originair and Sounds Air are operating daily flights to and from Nelson Airport throughout the year.
Nelson Airport Parking Options
The airport has four main parking options: Car Park 1 and Car Park 2; it takes only few minutes’ walk to get there. Both parking lots are situated on the ring road by the Terminal and work twenty-four seven. There is also Bicycle Parking available, you can find the bike stand near the entrance to Car Park 2. Nelson Airport parking rates are very low which is suitable for both long term and short term parking, but remember that there is a maximum stay limit for only tree month.
Nelson Airport Parking Rates
Stand is free for the first 20 minutes for both Nelson airport parking lots, $2 for up to an hour, an hourly fee of $2.00 per hour thereafter and $10 for a 24-hour parking. Short term free parking at Nelson Airport is a perfect finding if you need to pick up or bring in passengers quickly. All the automatic pay stations accept cash and credit cards. You can find this stations placed at the front of the Terminal.
