Ranked 8th in Texas for primary commercial service airports, Midland International Air and Space Port also known as Midland International Airport is the first facility in the country that is licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration to serve both scheduled airline flights and commercial human spaceflight. Midland International Airport opened in the 1960s and in the late 1990s, the original terminal was demolished and a new one was built. Today, the airport handles tow million passengers annually, and is served by American Airlines, Southwest and United Airlines providing flights to certain cities in the country, and connecting Midland to the rest of the world. Midland Airport Parking Options

Midland International Airport has four parking options. The Covered Parking Lot is right across the terminal and ideal for short-term parking, or dropping off and picking up of passengers. The Close-In Parking Lot has limited spaces and is located behind the covered parking lot. The Economy Lot is and open-air parking area and a few minutes’ walk to the terminal, while the Remote Covered Parking Lot is farther away. There are private garages and parking lots nearby and in the cities of Midland and Odessa that are alternatives to on-site airport parking.  Shuttle services, valet parking, baggage assistance, and car services may be provided.

Midland International Airport Parking Rates

Covered Parking lot costs $3 for the first hour, $12 from 5 to 24 hours, and $80 for weekly parking. Close-In-Parking Lot costs $1.25 for the first hour, $8 from 5 to 24 hours, and $50 for weekly parking. Economy Parking Lot costs $1 for the first hour, $6 from 5 to 24 hours, and $35 for weekly parking. Remote -Parking Lot costs $2 for the first hour, $8 from 5 to 24 hours, and $50 for weekly parking.
