Dane County Regional Airport or DCRA is both civil and military airport, located in Madison, Wisconsin, United States of America. It is the second busiest airport in Wisconsin for passenger carriage. DCRA serves almost 2 million passengers and more than 80 thousand aircraft operations every year. FAA even categorized it as a small-hub primary commercial service facility. Madison Airport is subject to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other significant environmental laws, in order to meet and exceed environmental requirements. Such as air and water quality, solid waste, noise restrictions, natural resource protection and improvement. Wisconsin Aviation is the current fixed-base operator of Madison airport. DCRA includes two levels: Ticketing Level with baggage claim areas, cafes, gift shops and other and Concourse level with total of 13 Gates, cafes, pedestrian walk to the parking ramp and more.

Madison Airport Parking Options

DCRA offers a great variety of parking options: Economy lot, Surface Lot, Ramp, Hourly lot plus Cell Phone area. Economy outdoor lot is situated farthest of all, but it is the most cost-effective choice for a long term parking, it takes approximately 8-10 minutes to get there on foot. The Surface outdoor lot is situated east of the Ramp, and it takes only 5 minutes to get there. Ramp is located right across the main terminal. It can be reached via the pedestrian walk from the Concourse level. It is a covered three-story building that includes Hourly parking lot, bicycle or motorcycle parking places, and rental car pickup. The no fee Cell Phone area is designed especially for swift drivers that came to pick up arrivals and don’t want to pay for long wait. Drivers cannot leave their cars unattended on this lot, otherwise it will be towed away with further expenses.

Madison Airport Parking Rates

All parking lots are free to use for the first 15 minutes, and charges $1 per each next half an hour up to daily maximum.

Madison Airport Long Term Ramp parking costs $10 per 24-hour period. Hourly Ramp costs $16 per day. Economy lot costs $6 per day. Surface lot costs $8 per day.

All the parking lots (except for the Economy lot) accept all the major credit cards or cash for payment. Economy lot accepts credit cards only, not cash.
