There is a big outdoor parking lot right across the main terminal and additional Cell Phone Waiting area. It is well suited for both long-term and short-term stay. Parking can be easily accessed off of the Mokulele Loop. Cell Phone Waiting area is free to use for up to 60 minutes. This area allows drivers to wait for the arrivals without charge or just quickly drop off departing passengers. The only rule – do not leave your vehicle unattended, otherwise it may be tugged away with further expenses. Lihue airport long term parking offers monthly parking, which is based on calendar month. Purchase can be made from the 22nd of each month. Especially for electric vehicles there are few charging stations available, that charge $7 per 24-hours of use.

Five others (Budget Car rental lot, Payless Car rental, Advantage rent a car and Alamo rent a car) facilities are situated right behind the airport parking lot but still very easy to reach.
