The Jackson Hole Airport is the one and only commercial airport in the United States that is located inside a National Park entirely. JAC offers a unique travel experience and fantastic views. Mountain hiking, biking, skiing, fishing and many-many more are just outside the airport’s doors. Recently renewed terminal building blends with surrounding nature perfectly, with its exposed wood elements, fireplaces, and nature photography art collection.
The main airport terminal is a one-story building with all the necessary amenities. The pre-security kiosk offers coffee and grab-and-go snacks, when the post-security area has a full-service restaurant and a bar. There are two gift-shops available where you can find beautifully crafted unique local souvenirs. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport for every customer to use freely. You can enjoy it while sitting in comfy leather seating or bean bag chairs in the ticketing area. The airport operating hours are from 4 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Jackson Hole Airport Parking
Jackson Hole Airport offers two options for parking: the Long-Term lot, the Short-Term lot and additional overflow lot as a reserve. The big parking lot in front of the terminal is divided into three sections: short-term parking, rental cars returns section and long-term parking. Parking at Jackson Hole Airport is very convenient and not confusing at all, as each row is marked with a clarifying sign. The Short-Term parking lot is located right in front of the terminal door so it is the closest and most convenient option for a short stay. Jackson Hole Airport Long-Term parking is located a bit further but still can be easily reached on foot. The whole parking area is an outdoor-type lot without any weather protection, so be sure to prepare a blanket or a sun shield in case of a long-lasting trip. Handicap parking is available in all the lots.
Jackson Hole Airport Parking Fees
Cost of parking at Jackson Hole airport depends on the parking lot. The airport also provides free complimentary hours. The Short-Term parking lot is free to use for the first 2 hours. After that, every 30 minutes cost $5, with a maximum daily charge of $100. The Long-Term lot is FREE for the first 5 hours. After that, a fee of $17 per 24h will be applied at the beginning of each 24h period.
