Ithaca Tompkins International Airport (IATA: ITH) is a county-owned airport situated in Lansing Town, just three miles north-east of Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York. Ithaca airport is a home base for three out of the five largest airlines in North America: American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines. It operates nonstop scheduled flights to most popular destinations like Charlotte, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Washington–Dulles, handling around 200 000 passengers every year. Ithaca airport is a small and welcoming place. Freshly renovated terminal building adds a number of convenient utilities for their visitors. The total number of gates was increased to six in order to handle the increasing demand of air travel. The Military Courtesy Room has been installed so that Ithaca airport can provide servicemen and women and veterans with a comfortable space to wait and rest for flights. The room includes couches, cable TV, a microwave, a sink, and more. A new playground was installed in the main terminal hall for the airport’s little travelers and visitors. The playground is covered with a padded floor and is surrounded by comfortable seating for adults. As for food and beverages, a brand new cafe called The Flying Rooster Kitchen is ready to provide travelers with freshly made from scratch burgers, chicken sandwiches, full salads, and many more dishes. Both post- and pre-security areas have cafes and shops. Airport Terminal working hours: 4:30 am – 12:30 am. The passenger terminal is open to the public use at around 4:00 AM and closes right after the last arriving flight, usually around midnight.

Parking at Ithaca Airport is designed to be easy to use and convenient to airport visitors. The airport offers two options: Short-Term parking lot and Long-Term parking lot. Both lots are located right in front of the terminal. It takes only a short walk to get to the lots so no need to wait for the shuttle bus arrival. Both lots are well secured, safe and easy to navigate through. Parking lots operate 24/7, no holidays.
Long Term Parking Ithaca Airport
The Long Term parking lot is located right after the Short-Term one. This is the most convenient option to leave your vehicle in case of a long-lasting trip. The well-protected area will keep your car safe and sound. Please note that both Long and Short-Term lots are the outdoor type, so no weather protection can be provided. It is recommended to put the sun shield over the car’s window during summer and a blanket in winter.
Ithaca Airport Parking Fees
Ithaca Airport Parking Rates start after the complimentary 30 minutes for both Short-Term and Long-Term parking lots. Short-Term Ithaca Airport parking cost will be $2 for 31 – 60 minutes parking, up to 2 hours - $3, up to 3 hours - $5, up to 4 hours - $7, up to 5 hours - $8 and $9 for 24 hours. The weekly rate is also available for $45. Ithaca Airport Long-Term Parking rates $2 for 31 – 60 minutes parking, up to 2 hours - $3, up to 3 hours - $4, up to 4 hours - $5, up to 5 hours - $6 and $7 for 24 hours. The weekly parking rate is $35.
