Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, otherwise known as Honolulu Airport (HNL), is both civil and military airport in the Hawaii State. It is located in Honolulu on the island of Oahu. It was recognized as one of the busiest airports in the United States of America. Presently, Honolulu airport is able to operate more than 21 million passengers annually and numbers still increasing! FAA categorized this airport as a large-hub primary commercial service facility. It is the home hub for Hawaiian Airlines, major Hawaii-based airline. HNL airport includes three terminals: Terminal 1, formerly known as the “Interisland Terminal”, Terminal 2, formerly known as the "Overseas Terminal" and Terminal 3 formerly known as the “Commuter Terminal”. The airport handles roughly 850 transportation operations per day.

Honolulu Airport Parking Options

HNL provides each Terminal with its own Garage Parking Lot. Honolulu airport provides both long term and short term parking options. You can make a choice according to the terminal you require:

International Parking Garage

This parking lot is situated directly opposite the Terminal 1. Entrance is situated on the ground level of the Airport Access Road or it can be accessed via the car bridge on the top floor of Terminal 1. This eight-floor building offers parking spaces 24/7, 7 days a week.

Terminal 2 Parking Garage

This parking lot is situated directly opposite the Terminal 2. Entrance is situated on the 2nd level of the Airport Access Road, right opposite from Lobby 5. This five-floor building offers parking spaces 24/7, 7 days a week.

Terminal 1 Parking Garage

This parking lot is connected directly to the Terminal 1. You can enter either from the ground or second level of the Airport Access Road. This seven-floor building offers parking spaces 24/7, 7 days a week.

Other Parking Lots

There are two Cell Phone Waiting Lots: Diamond Head Cell Phone Area and Ewa Cell Phone Waiting Area. These areas are free of charge for no longer than 1 hour. Cell Phone Waiting Lots are designed especially for drivers who wait for arrivals. No commercial cars are permitted, as well as unattended cars.

HNL offers a special motorcycle/moped parking lots at every parking garage for the most efficient use.

Honolulu Airport Parking Rates

Honolulu airport parking fees are similar for all three Garages: first 15 minutes are free, staying afterwards costs $1 per 30 minutes, $3 per 1 hour, $15 per 5 hours and $18 per day.

Motorcycle Parking costs $1 per two hours and $5 max per day or $50 monthly.
