Hector International Airport (FAR) is both civil and military airport that is located 3 miles northwest of Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota. The military part – Fargo Air National Guard Base, The United States Air National Guard facility is situated close to the airport. Hector International airport flights to various destinations like Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and many others. Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier and United Airlines are serving over 900 000 passengers every year from the Hector International.

The History of Hector International Airport starts back in 1927, when it was known as the Hector Field. Since then the airport went through some major changes. The new terminal was built in 1953, and the next one in 1986, reorganizing the old terminals building as an aviation office complex and the headquarters for the Civil Air Patrol. The terminal that is used nowadays is the one that was built in 1986. The whole airports complex now also holds aviation museum with ongoing corporate & private events showing still working planes as well as World War II fighters.

Fargo Hector International Airport is a two-storey building that includes all the necessities, starting from ATMs and ending at airports aviation ArtWORKS exhibits. The first floor holds all the airlines ticket counters, baggage claim areas and different car rental companies. On the second floor you can find gift shops presenting North Dakota-made products and two restaurants as well as a coffee bar with snacks and lounge area. There are also a few business areas that offer comfortable place for work with free Wi-Fi connection and charging stations.

Fargo airport parking has three options to offer: The Short-term lot, The Long-term lot and the Economy lot, not counting the employee parking lot that greatly reduces the parking lots load rate. Parking at Fargo airport can’t be easier as all the parking lots are located right across the airport, within a short walking distance. The Short Term Parking lot holds 238 parking spaces and it is the closest option to the airports terminal. The Long Term Parking is located tight behind the Short-term one. It holds 1 570 parking spaces. The Economy lot is the farthest option but also it is the cheapest one, holding 323 parking spaces. All the parking lots are outdoor type lots with no covered spaces.

All the parking rates at Hector International airport start at $1 per each 30 minutes up to a certain daily price. The Short-term parking daily rate is $18. The Long Term parking daily rate is $8, and weekly rate is $48. The Economy Lot parking daily rate is $6, and weekly rate is only $36.

Hector International airport parking fees can be paid with cash or all the major credit (debit) cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, and Discover. The Economy lot can be paid with credit card payment only.

The Fargo Airport parking cost depends on the lot you choose. Hourly and daily rates are available at all the airport's parking lots, and Economy Parking is the most affordable option.

Hourly parking is $1 per hour, and daily parking is $10 per day. Economy parking is just $5 per day, making it the most affordable option at the airport. All of Hector International Airport's parking lots offer disabled parking spaces, and all the lots have shuttle service to and from the terminal building.
