The Charlottesville Albemarle Airport is a public airfield located 13 kilometres north of the city of Charlottesville, Albemarle County. It has been operating commercial flights in this region since 1955. The flights serve six major cities neighbouring Charlottesville daily, which makes it one of the busiest airports in this region. The airport features an 800-foot runway, a terminal with rental cars, a Gourmet Deli & Gift shop offering gifts and food services, and ground transportation. 
The Charlottesville airport parking is located within the 710 acres of this airport that is classified as a primary commercial service airport. The parking space at Charlottesville is conveniently located in relation to the terminal building. Elevator service is also available in the long term parking lot for convenient luggage transfer.

The airport has a short term parking lot automated for easy use. The short term lots are located next to the passenger terminal and are ideal for passenger pickup. Parking within this area is free for the first 30 minutes. It also features disabled parking spaces. Just beside the short-term lot is the economy lot, perfect for those looking for short-term parking close to the terminal. In addition, it has the long-term lots to the terminal’s south and southeast.
