Bismarck Municipal Airport (BIS) is a public airport, located just southeast of the Bismarck City, North Dakota, United States. The FAA categorized it as a primary commercial service airport. First opened 1963, the airports terminal got through several major changes. The new terminal was built from the ground and opened in 2005, the whole construction cost around $15 million. The airport works with Allegiant Air, American Eagle, Delta, Frontier and United Express Airlines, serving around 300 thousand passengers every year.

The main terminal is a compact two-story building. The first floor includes ticket counters, baggage claim area, and car rental services. For those, who want to take a snack break, Corner Café is at your service. Sandwiches, coffee drinks, teas and all kinds of desserts are waiting for their customers! The second-floor gates and gift shops can be accessed through the security checkpoint. You can also find ATM machines and nursery rooms on the second floor. Vending machines with all kinds of stuff are available throughout the airport. Wi-Fi connection is free to use across the whole terminal to help the customers pass the time. The Passenger terminal operates from 3:30 am till 12:30 am (or 30 minutes after the last flight). No smoking is allowed in the terminal.

Parking Bismarck airport

There are three options available for Bismarck airport parking: the Short-term lot, the Long-term lot and the Economy lot. The closest option is the Short-term parking lot. It is located right across the main terminal building. The second option – long term parking lot, it is located behind the Short-term lot. The trip from the terminal to this lot takes mere minutes of casual walk through green alleys. The Economy lot is located a bit further away, but even this distance won’t take more than a five-minute walk. It can also expand its parking places in case of overflowing passenger traffic. All the parking lots are outdoor parking type lots that operate 24/7. Each parking lot has operating handicap parking spaces, located as close to the terminal as possible. Parking at Bismarck airport is an easy, cheap and safe experience for everyone!

Bismarck airport parking prices

Bismarck airport short term parking rates $1.5 per 30 minutes (first 20 minutes – free of charge), up to $10 per day.

Bismarck airport long term parking charges $1 per hour, up to $8 per day and $40 per week.

Bismarck airport Economy lot rates $1 per hour, up to $7 per day and $35 per week.

Bismarck airport parking fees can be paid with both cash and credit card. Except for the Economy lot. This lot can be paid with a credit card only.
